Mid-Summer buttercups flood The Ham at Tewkesbury, haven for nesting birds, curlew and larks.
Aisla asked us to find our back-pack and explore path.
Dog Walkers, ramblers, twitchers, fishermen (and women), strollers and contemplators walk this path come rain and /or sun.
A recreational path, informal, meandering, not rifle straight like a destination path. It’s far enough away to stand and listen to silence yet not close enough to pass the time of day with similar souls and hear the Abbey bells.
Far from the maddening crowd, appealing to a maximum two persons/one and a dog at a time, established informally with no benches, sign-boards, no evidence of society, minding its own business throughout the seasons.
weekly-photo-challenge where’s my backpack
Isn’t Gilly a sweetheart? 🙂 🙂 I guess you’re not really interested in playing the WordPress game. It has its moments!
No, that isn’t a hyperlink! Go to your dashboard, have a post open to edit – this one will do. Open the site you want to link to on another tab. In your edit post go to the words
‘ weekly-photo-challenge where’s my backpack’ and highlight them. Then look at the top of the page where the bar of editing tools is and hover over one that looks like a paperclip. Click it and a new box will open, copy and paste the address of the post you want to link to into the box that says URL then hit enter or click add link. It will then appear underlined where you’re editing and once posted it will open the page you want it to click it on your actual post. THEN the person you’re linking to will know and anyone else who visits your site can click to visit them. Does this make any sense? Try it! Oh and when you ‘ve got it delete this babble of mine!
Yikes. I’ll give it a try when I’ve get a post or one to edit. Does this have to be done every time I post?
It’s sort of the idea, to acknowledge the person you posted the prompt! You’d soon get used to it – if I can work it out believe me you can too!
I’ve checked back at a few of your posts and can’t see links, if you link to Ailsa she’ll know you’ve posted and come visit you and even more important when you do the Weekly Photo Challenge!
The kind of place where the air buzzes on a hot day, definitely nice for a walking meditation. You’ve got me dreaming of summer Tony 🙂
Did you forget to link to Ailsa?
