  1. Great photographs of these beautiful sedimentary rocks. The 1st piece of jewelry I made in class was with rhodochrosite which I bleieve is in one of these rocks. The pinkish toned one with a bit of white. Well done for the challenge.

    Ooo what amazing rock, have you enhanced the colour at all? Do yo know Meg at Snippetsandsnappits? She lives at Potato Point, which I think is very close to Long Beach, and she has many wonderful posts about the local geology. I think you’d enjoy it.
