Weekly Photo Challenge: Abandoned

India is littered with abandonment but what interested me in this little fading tableaux is its representation. Somewhere in the pile of abandoned bits I expect there can be found the remains of a donkey, a camel or a buffalo.
I saw it as a testament to India's progress in means of personal conveyance: donkey, cycle, scooter, motorcycle and soon the car.
Aside from that observation it's curious that the abandonments are exclusively former wheeled conveyances. Surely they have a scrap value? Curious…
